Speech
Services
The Bosnia Speech and Hearing Project provides speech,
language and hearing services on a year round basis for 35 children,
including hearing impaired children and hearing children in Sarajevo,
Bosnia.
Hearing
Services
The BSH Project also provides audiological services
as needed, including audiological evaluations, hearing aids, and new
ear molds annually or as needed for our hearing impaired students
as needed.
Other
Services
The BSH Project has provided other services as well,
such as dysphagia evaluation for a severely handicapped girl, and
scholarships for a few of our communication handicapped and severely
handicapped children to attend school in Bosnia.
Summer
Clinic
A team of speech pathologists, audiologists, and educators
are planning to travel to Bosnia in the summer of 2003 to provide
speech, language and hearing services to children in Sarajevo, with
tentative plans to visit other cities as well.
